Three final days.

Wednesday 23. November

Today we were together in Glohair salon. Our day started at 9, so we had to wake up early. When we got to the salon we practiced some put up hair elements on a practice doll. And after that we decided to cut my hair, because we hadn´t got anything to do..

After salon day we went home and start cooking. We cooked together with Adam.. Nobody else was there. We cooked potatoes with minced meat sauce. Also we did a delicious cookies cake for next day.

Thursday 24. November

It was our last day in salon. So we had shorter day, because we needed to pack and too many stuff more. We were in salon 9 a.m till 1.30 p.m. Malla gave us some leaving presents also. It was some shampoo and blowdrying product. When we got home we met with Sofia. She came with us in the dormitory. Kristel started packing. When we had pack for a while we started to eat cake with everybody. Adam, Anders, Piret, Rasmus, Sofia, Kristel and i sat for a last time in our common kitchen and ate together. It was really nice. After that we went to play pool for the last time. At 6 o´clock I and Kristel went to Estonian dinner with Finland Estonian group. It was a Christmas party included Estonian food. It was really good dinner and we had a blast. We sang Estonian songs and chat with people we never seen before. We had to sang one song called "Saaremaa Valss" with one other Estonian woman in front of everybody. It was little bit freaking, but i think we managed it quit well when we consider the fact that we are not good with rhythm. When we got back to dormitory, we invited others to our room to chat and be together for last time. Everybody except Anders came.

Friday 25. November!!! Back to ESTONIA!!!

We pack our things and cleaned our room today. Also went to school to get all the documentation ready for our leaving. At 3 o´clock car was waiting us in front of the dormitory. It brought us to the bus station, where we went on a bus, which drove 1 hour and 55 minutes to Helsinki harbor. Bus driver didn´t ride fluently, so i got sick a little. When i hope that ferry would be smoother i was naive, because right now we are in the ferry and have hour and 15 minutes to be here more. Ship is swinging in the waves, everybody feels seasick and only thing we need is to get on the safe ground. But think positive, it was good that ship even started to go towards Estonia! :D

Anyways, we are clad to get to Estonia. And trying to get there soon. But it was nice experience. And i hope you all found our blog interesting, because we write it to you not us. So thank you all for our 243 page views!

We thank the grew for that experience and hope you all the best! Also we are glad to met so nice people. And Thank You Adam for our delicious common meals! And miss Sofia, you´re great! :)

19. - 22. November.

19th November.
Kristel went to Helsinki. I chatted with my friends in internet and called my best friend in Skype. We talked about 2 hours, we´re just that good in speaking.. :) Also i watched movies and when it was about 5 o´clock me, Adam and Anders decided to go to the city center. We arrived there little past 6, so almost all the shops were closed already. Only the one next to Profilduo was still open. So we walked more than a hour to get some stuff we don´t planned to buy and not to get things we needed. After we arrived back to dormitory we watched Dragonballs, because Adam and Anders told that it is amazing.. Yeahh, it is really not. I watched for a while, but then i felt my brain to melt together and decreased, because it was just that stupid and pointless thing to watch. So i went back to my room and watched "Avatar", because it´s so much better. Anyway, that was boring day for me.

20. November
That day was all about sleeping. We woke up about 1 p.m. We ate. Walked to the lake and around it for 2 hours. Came back home. Slept 4 till 7.30 p.m. Woke up. Chat in internet. I watched Kung Fu Panda 2. Kristel talked with her family. Went to sleep at 1 o´clock a. m.

21. November
Our day started at 8.30 o´clock. We had to go to the work by 10 o´clock. I was in Profilduo and Kristel was in Glohair. My day was really interesting and fast. When i got there i started coloring my practice head. One of the workers, Pilvi, teach me a modern coloring technique. I had change to color my little red hair piece also. And other worker Mari washed my hair and styled it. She does really good head massage. I recommend it! When i was ready with coloring i cut my practice head and styled it. With that all my day was full. And i got home little bit earlier(35 minutes), because i forgot to take my lunch brake. Kristels day was little bit different. She did only 2 things. Practiced up put hair on her doll and washed the towels. Yeahh, they told Kristel, that she must to wash the towels all week. She don´t have any change to serve clients, only wash the towels. And i really think that it is unfair. Like we came in Finland to be a cleaning ladies. Seriously? That is very rude of them.
So I went to dormitory and on the way I met with Sofia. She came with me in the dormitory, to join our common dinner and meet rest of the grew. This day we did again pasta bolognese. Actually I and Kristel should have done that, but we were so slow that Adam took over. :D We all eat together this day. Me, Kristel, Adam, Anders, Piret, Sofia, Rasmus. It was one of a kind day, like Anders said: "I´ve never eaten in one table with so many different nationalities." There were Estonians, Finnish, Danish and Hungarian, and it was only 7 of us.
After we ate all the food, it was time to play pool. Everybody except Rasmus were playing. I won 4 times in a row. Good Day! :D Little before 9 Sofia had to go home, because her sister came to pick her up. So we decided to make some sweet pancakes. Boys ran to the store and bought stuff for pancakes and i made them. We finished eating and chatting about 10.30, when dormitory woman came to close the kitchen. We didn´t realize it was that late already.. It happens when you have a great time.

22. November.
Today I was still in Pofilduo and Kristel was in Glohair. We went to work again 10 o´clock. Kristels day was the same as day before. Practicing put up hair and washing towels. My day started again with coloring my doll head. I decided to try how this coloring look when i change it just a little bit. So i colored some pieces of it. When the color was on hair i washed and blowdryed another practice head, which Susanna brought to me day before. When I washed colour out and blowdry the hair, I Also cut little more to bring the color out as good as possible. After that i styled it again. When i was ready with my competition head i started to practice some put up style. I did one circle style and then sat down and looked hairstyling magazines to get some new ideas. When Susanna came i showed her the put up hair and started to do another one. Kristel came in Profilduo about 3 p.m. and Susanna gave us gifts for our days spent together. It was really sweet of her. We didn´t expect anything, so it was a good surprise. Before i went away i cleaned my work place and thanked Susanna for the best two days of this foreign practice. They really were most interesting days so far for me. Thank you for that!I went away about 4.15 because basketball started at 5 and i really wanted to play. Susanna didn´t mind so, it was really great. At 5 i went to play BB. First i shoot to practice. Anders and Adam decided to play shuttlecock instead, i think they were afraid of getting beaten. Anyway i and Joona took a little shooting competition. I won. And then I played with 5 Finnish boys some real BB. Of course my team won. And won. And won. First we played 3-3 but then it was 2-3, because i was too good in that. So, it didn´t matter, that other team had more players, my team always won...
After BB I went to sauna and Kristel joined me later. And after that we did our regular common dinner. Salmon with vegetables. It was really good! Soooooo delicious!
But now we are going to sleep.

My Saturday

19. november;)

It started when my friend who live near to the Helsinki, send me message.
He wanted to see me and about two o'clock p.m he was in Hämeenlinna. He is boy from Estonia but almost 7 years he have lived in Finland. He didn't come alone, there was another Estonian boy also.

They didn't know anything about Hämeenlinna and because of that we went to Lahti. There we ate only some cakes. After that we went to Helsinki. They showed me around the city and in the evening we went to cinema. We drove around everywhere in the city and almost 1 o'clock at night I was at home;)

It was interesting day, I enjoyed it;)

18.november - Most interesting day;)

Day started 9.30 a.m and we had to be at work 11 o' clock a.m. At first I (Kristel) washed and styled Ülle´s hair. After that Ülle washed my hair and made curls for me. Today we had a opportunity to help some hairdressers. We washed down colours, blowdry client hair.
Also we learned and practice how to take care of extensions. It was quite interesting because in Estonia we don't use this tape extensions so much.

We are hairdressers, but we learned today how to make gel manicure. Ülle just needed it and I tried to do it. It was easy but I need more practice to make it better;);)

After work we went to shop to buy some things for common dinner. We ate mash potatoe with carrots and broccoli and chicken.

Now we just rest;);)
One week is left.. Soon we will be at home;)

16-17 november

16.november!

That day we worked in different salon too. I (kristel) was in Profilduo and Ülle was in Glohair salon.
I didn´t do anything special, just decorated the window with christmas things and watched how other hairdresses were working. Sometimes I had to wash bowl of colour and helped to clean the floor. I get some ideas for hairdressing but nothing special.
Ülle did get more work. She had change to do bleaching wash, colour and blow dry the hair. The hair was one of the workers.


I finished at 4 o´clock p.m and Ülle finished 5 o´clock p.m. After that we went to shop and then home. We were very tired and that day we didn't cook together with others.

21.00-22.00 we played pool with Adam and Anders and after that we went to sleep.

17.november

First day together in Glohair salon. It started 10 o´clock. In the morning we didn't do anything, just watched how they worked. There was some hairdresser from Sebastian who make me (Kristel) one hairstyle. He showed us one technique and it was really easy.

After lunch time we had to pack some products for christmas.







After work we cooked Estonian food and it was good. We made potatoes,cabbage and blood sausages. Anders and Liina joined us for the dinner(they come from Danish).Everybody liked it. After we played littlebit pool and now we go to sleep.

15. November.

So today we went to the outside salon. I was in Glohair and Kristel was in Profilduo.
My morning start at 7.30 in the morning when i woke up. I had to be in the salon for 9 o´clock and its half an hour walk to there. So in my salon I started my "work day" with rolling towels and putting them on shelves. After that I watched how other people worked. One point I got a change to wash one workers hair ( I think her name was Mari?) , blowdry and straighten it. So that other worker could put on the tape extensions. They showed me how to do that and i put one also. It was really easy and fast way to earn money. So after that I had a lot time, so i continued watching others work. After watching some time i took my 35 minutes to take a lunch brake. I used it to visit Kristels salon. When i came back i watched magazines to get good hairdressing ideas and helped Mari to blowdry one really long hair. When it was 4 my day was over and i went to Profilduo, to wait for Kristel and Sofia so we could go to Goldwell "Go Color" Training.

Kristels day started about 10 o´clock when she woke up, well rest and happy. Her work day started at 12 o´clock, so she start walking 11.30. When she arrived they introduced her what is going to happen in this day. The plan was following: We will go to the shop and buy decoration stuff to make Christmas decorations for the outside window. And so it was. They bought stuff and made decorations all day long. When I arrived there about 4.10 Kristel was finishing the last decoration. I would say that she is best decorations making hairdresser to be find, so you should hire her. ;)

Sofia came to Profilduo at 4.45 and we walked to the Goldwell training. A lot of hairdressing student from Hämeenlinna were models in there. Training was pretty good. Even though we didn´t understand it all, we got some great ideas for coloring and cutting. So i think we were quite pleased with that, although there was one styling, what was really not beautiful, i let you to figure out which it was. So i took some pictures from the results. After training we went to the sauna. It was really good. And then we watched football. Estonia vs Ireland. Today it was 1-1 ! So yeah, no red cards for anything we didn´t do...

And about the ghosts and police.. We hope that nobody understood us wrong. In the weekends it´s really quiet in other rooms, so all noises are heard. And some other students told us some ghost stories about the dormitory, so it was one of the mysterious theory. We are not afraid that they are hunting us or something like that, it is just little bit funny and strange. And the police cars were in the parking lot because some teenagers were doing things they should not do. We weren´t there, we saw it in our window.. So, don´t worry, we are not delusional or getting into trouble. And the bangs and running was because of some teenagers thought it would be funny to run around the dormitory and bang the doors in the middle of the night. I think it was somehow related with running away from the police or smth.. Some youngsters are just that childish.

And we are behaving good, so don´t worry!
